CHARTERED PSYCHOLOGIST
Hello! I am Anna
I am dedicated to helping people work through difficult times, to help them grow, find balance and clarity. Since 2004, I’ve been lucky enough to walk alongside my clients in a safe, caring space where they can share their thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged.
I’m here to help you deal with challenging situations, support you in making changes or help you learn more about yourself. We can talk about things like anxiety, depression, and trauma, but I can also help you figure out what you’re good at and make changes in your life that will really make a difference. I also work with couples, teaching them communication skills and helping them figure out what is going on for them.
I use different therapeutic techniques that are fit for each client, so our sessions are useful and a good fit. My goal is to give you practical tools and support, based on my experience, to help you work through your distress, get to know yourself better, and face life’s challenges.
Feel free to watch the video as an introduction to me and my approach.

Qualifications
My Education
My educational background makes me qualified to offer caring, effective support. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and Social Services from the University of South Africa, where I focused on psychological counselling. This provided me with a strong foundation for psychotherapeutic interventions. In addition, my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BPsych equivalent) gives me a deeper understanding of how the mind works and how people behave.
I advanced my training in psychotherapy by completing an MA Certification in Gestalt Psychotherapy from Stellenbosch University. I also provide research-based therapy through a Master of Arts in Research Psychology. These qualifications led to registration as a psychotherapist and psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
Later, I obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences and an MSc in Rehabilitation Psychology from the Auckland University of Technology.
With these skills and training, I can help you with a wide range of concerns, such as making changes in your life to become resilient and using practical strategies tailored to your needs.
Registrations
I am currently registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) as a Chartered Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy and at the National Council for Integrative Psychotherapists (NCIP) as a fellow.
